The Man&God International Visual Feast exhibition was successfully launched simultaneously at two venues: Bed Bar and Paper Cuisine & Bar on 19 October. The highlight of the visually sumptuous spread was the Man&God Russian Dolls created by designers and artists from around the world. Accompanying the dolls were selected posters and installations from the previous shows. The opening night was spiced up with a joint performance by Butoh artist Lee Swee Keong, with music by experimental musician Zhang Wei, and featuring a live drawing by artists Zhang Dan and Tom Yang. On 25 October at Bed Bar in Zhang Wang Hutong, Swee Keong and Zi Ru, a well-respected Chinese opera performer in Beijing, delivered a Butoh-Chinese opera performance that touched the hearts of those present and could well be the first of its kind in the history of the performing arts.
